Dr. Annette Da Silva

Annette Da Silva DO, FAOCPMR, FAAPMR

“I knew from an early age I wanted to go into the medical profession. For me, it’s all about helping people. From age 15, I was fortunate enough to work for a doctor! I got to see behind the scenes of a medical office and grew determined to open my own someday. Then, when I attended college, I worked for the medical examiner doing autopsies and forensic medicine. But there was no patient interaction and that’s what I really wanted. During rotations, I worked at Kessler while Christopher Reeve was a patient there and helped with his care. Then at NYU/Rusk Institute, I received further training in physical medicine and rehabilitation and I knew I was home. Today, I enjoy patient interaction and getting good results more than anything.”
